Stranger - Hilary Duff's second single from her fourth album Dignity is out! Apparently, people thought that this song was about her relationship with Joel but they thought wrong. It's about her parents' relationship but she wrote it in a way that it talked about her. Anyway, this is her Stranger video!! Hope you like it!! :)
It's a long day today. Started school at 9 in the morning and ending at 6 in the evening with fewer lessons in between. I had two lectures of the same module in the morning and the afternoon and bio lecture on the later evening. So in between the 2 - 3 hours break, me, Hanisah and Eunice took the oppurtunity to walk to Ang Mo Kio and ate our lunch in Ramen Ten. I've been craving for ramen since the beginning of the school term and I can't get enough of them!
Me and Hanisah had Tom Yam Chicken Cutlet Ramen and that was my second time eating it! Love it!! Eunice ate this soft crab sushi roll thing and she even finished our leftovers!! I really admire her.. I don't think I can finish other people's food.. eeuuggh! And the weirdest thing is, she thinks that the gravy of the ramen contains cheese which I think is crazy!! Maybe too much of that maggi mee and cheese has bombarded your taste buds and even your mind Eunice!! LOL.. kidding. You know I still love you! ;)
Anyway, tomorrow will be short day. I'll be going for two hours. One hour for Sociology and another hour for Research Methods. BUT.. I can spend my time studying for my test on Wednesday!! I have to go and I still have not eaten my dinner yet!! Waiting for my mummy to come back home and feed me.. hehe... (yeah right! ;))
It has almost been a day since I've finished reading the last book of Gossip Girl: Don't You Forget About Me and I'm already missing the characters. I will certainly miss Blair and Nate but not Serena..LOL. I just cannot wait to see the TV series soon and just to fall in love with them all over again but I think the series is a bit off from the books. Well, hopefully I can get by the days without thinking too much about them!
Oh my.. just as I have posted the Gossip Girl teaser trailer, I've found another video that has a sneak peak into the Gossip Girl episodes. By looking at it.. the TV series is following the events based on the book. So here it is!!
I have good news and bad news. The bad news... Gossip Girl the series is gonna end soon!! I just bought the second last book of the series called DON'T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME and there will be a prequel called IT HAD TO BE YOU which will be all about how the trio and the gang met and fell in and out of love with each other.
The good news.. as you know there were rumours about GossipGirl being a movie but it's not true. Better yet.. it's going to be a TV SERIES!! I just watched the teaser trailer and you gotta love the cast! You can find more info. about them in www.imdb.com. And being the nice soul I am.. here's the trailer! I'm already loving it!! Enjoy!! You Know You Love Me... xoxoxo
It's been such a long week and I could never take a minute to stop and rest. The last weekend I was so busy that I couldn't even study and last night was the first time I revised, which is just to kill time to wait for Heroes episode 2o to load up. Last Saturday, I went out to JB with my family and we went to Jusco Tebrau City with my brother who was his first time there. We window-shopped and I bought a Dorothy Perkins jeans that was on sale. We also had dinner at the Manhattan Fish Market and it was rather good! I regretted not buying the Fish n' Chips cause it was voted the #1 Fish n' Chip (it was printed on the back of the waiters' t-shirt... lol).
Then on Sunday, as usual I had my religious classes and it was emotional at the end. My teacher read a story about "My Mother" cause well it was Mother's Day that day. All of us cried at the end cause it really was true and touching! I don't know if they have it online but I'll try to search for it. Anyway, I couldn't go back straight home on that day cause my dad had some test going on with his golf called the handicap test. Don't ask me what it's about cause I don't even have a clue! But I was glad I could watch Ugly Betty!! =P
On Monday, nothing special happened except that I learn a new clinical skill which was bladder washout using a 3-way urinary catheter. It was a bit confusing seeing that there are quite a lot of steps but it was interesting. Thinking about it, since I'm in Year 2 now, I will have to take my Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) test later in the future!! I really have to pass it to get the certificate!!
Then on Tuesday, I learn about OCD and OCPD in Abnormal Psychology. I knew what OCD was cause I saw Tyra talking about on her show. But do you know that there's a difference between the two. OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is an anxiety disorder where thoughts and behaviours are designed to aleviate these anxiety disorders and they are seriosuly repetitive and more intense. Like for example, a normal person will have to close the door once to be satisfied but an OCD person will have to do it several times until he/she is satisfied. And if someone breaks their rountine, they will start all over again until he/she is satisfied. On the other hand, OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder) is a personality disorder and people with these disorder are worried about their punctuality and are particular about things. But one big difference is that OCPD is more broader, less intense and is less severe. For example, an OCPD person will wake up exactly at 6.45 am, take the train at 7.08am and reach work at 8am exactly every day. It's something like a routine that never breaks. Thinking about it, I think I have a bit of this disorder. I'm like to be punctual and will feel very anxious if I don't reach that place at a particular time.. haha. Maybe I'm just paranoid!!
Alright today was super-tiring. Not only was the Bio lecture really chim (we were talking about the cells in the brain), I had an annual Mentoring meeting and we ended around 6pm. But it was lucky that we had a lot of mentors going to Outram Sec. Can't wait to work with them!
Okie.. my Heroes episode 21 has finish uploading. I'm gonna watch it!! See ya!!
YAHOO!! Finally, the mentoring orientation has finished and it's up to next week for another annual meeting. The response today was overwhelming! I thought only about 20 people or less will join but it turned out to be 27 not counting the 16 that couldn't make it today! So in all there will be 43 new mentors joining! Well hopefully they will all stick and not leave Mentoring Club.
Anyway.. I've watched episode 17 of HEROES even though Star World's showing episode 15 now. Well thanks to Seetha, I can watch it until the end!! But I'll still be watching the episodes they are showing on Star World. It seems that I can understand and concentrate more when I'm watching it on TV than on the internet! I've seem to forget what has happened in episode 15!!
