Without fail I will always check up on the Twilight Singapore site for any updates my staff members did or any new comments, and I saw this post that one of my staff members - Izzati, posted. An up and coming singer and a Twilight fan wrote and sang a song that was inspired by the second Twilight book, New Moon. The song is titled Need and when I first heard it, I felt that this song fits New Moon perfectly!

Hana Pestle, the creator behind the song Need hopes for a chance to be included in the New Moon soundtrack. If for those who don't know, the sequel to Twilight - New Moon - will start shooting this March in Vancouver and Italy. And I really wish and hope that her dream would one day come true cos I definitely would love Need to be included in the New Moon soundtrack. It fits the whole story perfectly.

Beatboxing is hard... well for me

I have not been good in updating my own personal blog for the past month due to my frequent updating for my Twilight Singapore fansite but well... I'm here. So now, instead of me babbling on about Twilight on my personal blog constantly which might bore people I know, I'm going to talk about something I discovered.

I was just surfing around YouTube looking for the latest songs from THE VERONICAS and went to their official YouTube Channel. There, I found a video of a guy, who named himself, TheBeatBoxHitman, beatboxing to Untouched by The Veronicas. Being intrigued, I checked it out cos how can you beatbox to an electronic pop? Once I heard it, I was in awe!

He uploaded quite a lot of videos of him beatboxing to other songs and one of them caught my eye - Love Story by Taylor Swift. A country song into beatbox? No way! But this guy proved me wrong!

And I can't get over him! I tried another video of him beatboxing and this time to OneRepublic - Apologize.

I have a few days left before I start my 3 months attachment in Changi. I've been busy at home taking care of my mom who just had her operation to remover her uterus. Anyway,I've been catching up on my Gossip Girl and 90210 episodes. I didn't realise that I missed quite a bit from Gossip Girl! Love Blair Waldorf but hate Jenny Humphrey! 90210 was great as well... specially with all the drama. Next week's episode will be great, I can tell with Naomi already finding out the secret between Annie and Ethan! More drama!!

Anywho, Hilary will be releasing her next album - "Best of" and the new songs are great! She has two new songs - Reach Out and Holiday! Love Holiday. It's very upbeat!

I'm done watching episode 6 of Gossip Girl: New Haven Can Wait and it's alright. Love the happy ending between B and S and well... laughed at the cute cat-fight scene between B and S. Can't believe N will impersonate D just to get into a girl's pants though, he has his own valid reason. Almost the whole student population of Yale knows who Nate Archibald is - the guy whose father made almost everybody's trust funds dry. And C, well he's Chuck Bass, what can I say. Interestingly enough, next week's episode will all be about C and B. Lots of GG fans looking forward to this episode where there's more of Blair and Chuck!! They really make a cute couple with all the evil plots and sweet revenge!

Well I'm not really sure how will this season end with S getting an early acceptance to Yale and B well, "collegeless" since her dream to get into Yale was trashed, but I really hope of an ending that's almost similar to the books - B suddenly well changed her mind about Yale (she got a late acceptance letter and when she wanted to tell the good news to S, she saw S and N making out in a bathtub!) and well N out of their lives, sailing to the horizon and like what his mentor says, "think with your balls, not your dick!" Funny.

It's been awhile that I have made my presence known and now, here I am! Tomorrow, I'll be starting my gerontology attachment in Changi and I'm kinda nervous and not looking forward to it. It's been 5 weeks since my previous posting and in between those 5 weeks, I've been taking care of my sick grandmother and of course preparing and celebrating Hari Raya and well I really, really wanna stay home and just slack. XP

I've been watching the new 90210 and Gossip Girl after my grandmother's condition started to improve and now surprisingly, I've been catching up on the second season of Ugly Betty when I wasn't interested in the series before. I'm having trouble watching episode 15 cos stupid fanpop takes eons to load the video! Anyway, tomorrow's the new episode for Gossip Girl - the catfight between Blair and Serena!! On Tuesday, 90210 - Adrianna's a biotch and I really want Annie and Ethan to progress further. On Wednesday, a whole new season of Samantha Who?. Can't wait for that season!! I just love American tv shows!

The next thing I love are my favourite books adapted to movies! I've been a Shopaholic fan from when I started reading the first novel and can't stop re-reading the novels again! I've been re-reading the last few chapters of Shopaholic and Baby and I don't get bored of it! Becky Brandon nee Bloomwood, she's just hilarious!! I LOVE HER! And I was jumping for joy when the official trailer for Confessions Of A Shopaholic the movie came out!! Love Isla Fisher as Becky1 She's funny! Here's the trailer:

The next movie coming out that I absoultely can't wait is TWILIGHT!! The final trailer is out and it's amazing!! Especially the sensual kiss between Edward and Bella. No wonder US rated it as PG-13! LOL. Here's a look at the final trailer of Twilight:

Today's the first day of my 5 weeks holiday and I'm starting it by going to Sydney, Australia for a study trip with my school. I'll be gone for a week and will only be back on the 14th. My packing is halfway done... all my clothes are in just my toiletries, souvenirs, and a few others.

I didn't know why but my paternal relatives took my leaving as a VERY big thing! It's just a week and it's not some sort of attachment or school, it's just a study trip! An educational trip nothing much! My mom said that her side takes it as its a normal thing as few of my maternal relatives are staying overseas and some even have studied overseas, so it's not a big of a deal but my paternal relatives were different. Oh well... this actually gives me the motivation to further my studies. =)

Anyway, I've just watched Gossip Girl Season 2 Episode 1 and OMG!! LORD MARCUS HAS BEEN REVEALED!! In the books, Lord Marcus was Blair's fling and fiance. I wonder.... will they be engaged in the show?? One Blair and Chuck scene that got everyone talking was this phrase at the end of the scene with Blair and Chuck:

"3 words, 8 letters, say it and I'm yours."

Sadly, Chuck could not even say it and Blair left with Lord Marcus. I have a feeling Chuck Bass is just afraid of commitment. What do you think?

A special message

All this while Singtel mIo TV has been advertising American dramas on-demand and I was delighted that Gossip Girl is inside. But when I think about it again, yes, they're showing GG in Singapore but it's Season 1 and the first episode of Season 2 was aired yesterday! I'd prefer watching the latest season than watching Season 1 all over again at my own free time. Not to brag or anything, but I know what happens in each episode and I feel that it's worth paying for the DVD which will be coming out soon. Furthermore, I'm a huge fan of the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar.

Gossip Girl aside, I was heartfelt when one of my cousins, Jahiza, wrote a special post for her beloved family and friends. I'm touched Jija! =) (Though you could have put a better picture of me... hehe) Thanks so much Jija for your heartfelt words and I love you more than Edward Cullen!! *wink**wink*

Study hard, do your best and aim high!! The Ahmad family believes in you Jija and we're very proud to have a very creative cousin and niece in our family! Stop fantasizing about Twilight till your O-lEVELS and I will indoctrinate you again with New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn after all the stress! Tee hee (I'll be thrilled if Twilight will be your inspiration for your English paper!! =))

Enjoy your hols till you can (but remember to study too!!) and it's only 49 days and less till THE DAY! You can do it Jija! Don't ever forget that the Ahmad family, especially the cousins (including Yaya) are behind you!! We lub U!! =)

Why oh why must Midnight Sun be leaked online? These online troublemakers has made Stephenie to put Midnight Sun (Edward's POV of Twilight) on HOLD indefinitely!! I've read the legal partial draft that Stephenie linked on her website and it's really, really good! I feel that I understand Twilight even more when I get to know Edward's POV. It was less intense than Bella's and comical especially the interactions with the rest of the Cullens.

It was a great read to understand how and why Edward develops feelings for Bella and he really has good self-control! And oh my god, the jealousy!! It was humourous! Didn't know vampires are envious and smug too! LOL. Even though Edward's known to be the good-looking, hot, model looking type of guy from Bella's POV, he's actually a very, very sweet person! He helps Angela Weber secretly as she is the only one among the girls who don't gossip about Bella and bad mouth her. Well... let's just say, he secretly helps her by playing cupid with Emmett!

As you know, I'm obsessed with Twilight and created a blog for Singaporean Twilighters - Twilight Singapore, I've also created my own Twilight playlists with songs that I feel resembles Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Obsessed much? Currently I'm listening to Unfaithful by Rihanna. It sort of reminds me of Bella's POV in Eclipse when she's in love with Edward and Jacob and when she sneaks off to La Push to visit Jake against Edward's orders. I know... creepy! Haha.

OME!! It's over!!

Yesterday was my last paper for my final year and the last day of school for all my 3 years in NYP. After we exited the exam hall, I sort of get a bit emotional. I won't be seeing all my friends till our graduation and that will be next year. So from now till January 2009, we will be having our attachments and PRCP. My friends and I planned to have a farewell gathering, sort of, before we part. And this is also a farewell for Qin Ting who is almost halfway around the world to her hometown, China. So while we were walking to our destination to have lunch, I met some of my other friends and we hugged before we will meet again during graduation.

Anyway, forget the emotional stuff, I had fun during our lunch gathering. We went to Naked Fish Shoppe in Grassroots Club which is just beside our school and the food was great! We paid $7 each for soup of the day; a meal of either fish n chips, breaded chicken, or jumbo hot dog; desert and either an ice tea or orange juice! And that's a student's meal! The price was very reasonable and we loved it!

I am not in the best of moods today and heck, I don't even feel like studying anymore! It was shocking to find out that Breaking Dawn actually came out yesterday here in Singapore instead of this Monday!! We could have just read Breaking Dawn together with the whole world but NOO!! It had to be Monday and now I'm pissed off with BORDERS and POPULAR for telling us fans that we can collect our pre-ordered copies this MONDAY!!! when they started selling it YESTERDAY!!! AARRGGHHH!!!

I was out yesterday and I wanted to go to Orchard to visit BORDERS but why didn't I!? I would have shrieked if I saw Breaking Dawn in BORDERS!! It's a waste of $5 if you ask me, telling us we can collect it on MONDAY! #@$%&*!*#@%$#&@

Alright, well what's done is done but when I visit BORDERS tomorrow and collect my own copy, I'm seriously going to ask them about the change of release dates! Seriously pisses of us Twilight fans!!

I was almost late for school today just because of the new Twilight trailer that Yahoo Movies posted, courtesy from Summit Entertainment!! When I saw that the new Twilight trailer was out, I told myself I had to see it and post in on Twilight Singapore. And well I had trouble embedding it so I tried Google videos and alas! I found it and it was a great thing that it's a YouTube link! Quickly, embed it on the blog and watched the trailer again!

I'm still watching the trailer and am really pleased with it! It'll be a great movie and it'll follow the sequence of events that happens in the book. So without further ado, here's Twilight trailer no. 2!

One test down , two to go!! I can't wait till it's all over, get Breaking Dawn and then get my exams over and done with!!

I came back from school today and logged in to Twilight Singapore which caused me to hyperventilate that I couldn't even type correctly!! THE NEW TWILIGHT TRAILER #2 IS OUT!! When I saw the new Twilight scenes, I was shouting "OH MY GOD" the whole way, stamping my feet and screaming till there's no tomorrow. Summit Entertainment really followed the book closely which I LOVE!! I really can't wait for the movie to come out! And the most shocking part is, Channel 5 showed the Twilight Trailer this evening on ET!! I shouldn't have gone straight to the bathroom after I came back from school!! :(

Anyway, I've checked the airing of ET again and it'll be on Channel 5 at one in the morning. I'm so going to wake up to watch the trailer on TV. I'm an obsessed Twilight fan!! Here's the trailer if you can't wake up later at one.

Okay, I have to sleep now and wake up later. It's almost like waking up to watch a LIVE football match! LOL

Ok seriously, I'm having a test tomorrow and WTH am I doing blogging?! Anyway, it's Twilight Tuesday!! Head over to Twilight Singapore to know more!! *wink* *wink* =)

It's been one hell of a week. A new week, more tests and the days are getting shorter to exams, internships and graduation. It has always been on my mind that when I start working, I'll be 19 and one more year to go and I'll be 20. The big 2-0!! Life is short. Anyway, I'm kinda hating my neighbour right now. They kept me awake throughout Friday night till Saturday morning. For those who are thinking dirty thoughts, sheesh I won't stoop that low. =P

It can be really f***ing irritating when your neighbours start to sing, shout and scream throughout the night, not even respecting the other neighbours!! They were not on high but at least they could be considerate enough to just shut the hell up and go to sleep!! They're just super annoying and especially blaming my cats for peeing in their home when in the first place my cats are either too lazy to leave home (as he's super fat and super lazy) or too scared to leave home as she'll rush in the house when a car zooms by.

Anyway, enough about them. I went to my aunt's place over the weekend to celebrate my little cousin's 2nd birthday and she's super cute!! Little Safia Aaqilah

Spunk Ransom Truth

I've got to admit, SmokeyFizz, they're the best video makers out there and I absolutely love them! They've been making videos using clips from Harry Potter, 300, Star Wars and even Twilight! Today, I have a video made by them and it's related to Twilight. Previously, I've posted an entry about their spoof of the exclusive Twilight scene - James Truth. If you have not watched it, you could watch it here.

Anyway, this new video that they made is a spoof or a "parody" that they did of Spunk Ransom or commonly known as Robert Pattinson. Yes I know. Spunk Ransom? Apparently, when Larry Carroll (gotta love him!) interviewed Robert during one of the MTV Twilight Tuesdays, he asked Robert what did he think of the Twilight fans calling him "R Pattz". He replied, saying that he hate his name and would prefer something cooler like Spunk Ransom. Weird eh? I know. I'd still prefer Robert Pattinson though.

Ok, back to topic, watch the video and laugh your head off (like I did). If you're still going "WHAT?", watch James Truth and you'll understand! =)

it's a boy girl thing

When I heard from my brother that "It's A Boy Girl Thing" is showing here in Singapore, I was shocked! I have actually watched the full movie on Star Movies and only now, they're showing it! I didn't believe my brother at first and thought it might be a remake or something. But when I heard Shan and Ross from 987fm named the actors I was like "what?!". They're the exact same actors!!

Hmmm... Singapore released the movie quite late and I think I know why. I've seen the movie and there were parts that were cut and it's not surprising that it's rated NC-16. The movie's funny by the way and it was super hilarious seeing the actor portraying a girl. I wonder how he'd felt portraying a female. If you guys are still wondering what I'm babbling about, think Freaky Friday but with a girl inside a guy and vice versa. It's really hilarious and I would really recommend it! Furthermore, there's a happy ending and you know what happens.

Anyway, I have a test coming up next week and I'm still not in a study mood! I really, really have to change my lifestyle now. Alright, I think that's all I can say for today. I'm actually forcing myself to write and now I have to eat my dinner. Ciao

I am what you call obsessed. Can you believe it that I actually bought Twilight again? Well here's the difference:

This was the cover of Twilight when I first bought it early 2006. Twilight wasn't popular then...

It wasn't "attractive" at all and when I first saw this cover that I was hesitant in buying Twilight. However, I bought it because of its synopsis. =)

And now, I've bought Twilight again but this time with the famous red apple.

See the difference? The cover of the book is really important and I prefer this cover which is the original cover of Twilight. Since I bought it again, I've been reading Twilight for the fourth time and I'm still not bored with it.

I'm starting to like novels by Melissa Nathan. Although, her endings might be too abrupt and short and you kind of want more from it but its the content of the story that makes it interesting. I guess Melissa wanted us readers to use our imagination and create a detailed happy ending for her characters even after we've finished reading the last sentence. Her novels are such a reading pleasure that you won't be able to put it down! =)

It's the second day of school after a deserved break and well... I'm not getting use to waking up early. And I'd prefer to sleep late and wake up late instead! =)

I have a really early morning class tomorrow. How am I going to stand a 2 hour lecture from 8am in the morning and not snooze during them? Anyway, the lecture topics for tomorrow are really dry... hopefully I can live through them.

Ever since I got back from school today, I've been really jumpy, ecstatic and full of hysteria! I checked the e-mail specially for Twilight Singapore and got a shock of my life and now I'm still in shock and can't get over the fact that HER WORLD magazine wants us Twilight Singapore members to have an interview with them!! An interview with HER WORLD magazine!! How crazy is that?! They would want us to interview about why women (like us) like about Twilight. I'm already preparing some of the answers in my head... hehe.

Alright... all my members agree to the interview and well me too! This will help us advertise our blog more! =)

Back To School

3 more hours and it's a new day. It's back to school for most of us. Some of you might be rejoicing while others might be sulking. Well... I'm neutral like Switzerland. ;)

These past few days, I've been slacking around and doing pretty much nothing. Sad life for me ain't it? I've just finished watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on DVD and it's great watching it again. Though my intentions of watching is of a totally different reason. I didn't watch it because I wanted to remember the storyline (I've read the book and prefer the original) or stare at Daniel Radcliffe throughout the movie. Instead, I wanted to watch it due to Cedric Diggory! *wink* *wink* *grins*

Robert Pattinson's the reason why! ;)

He's actually quite yummy to look at. Well apologies to those who are spewing out their dinner now, but I have to admit, he's actually quite good looking. I can already imagine him acting as Edward Cullen, with an American accent. *sigh*

MTV showed a clip of Bella and Edward in the greenhouse for the movie for Twilight Tuesday and I was practically swooning, looking at Robert. Mind you, this scene is NOT from the book but heck who cares?! As long as the main and important things are there it's good enough. But this scene is quite important as Bella asks Edward why he saved her from the impending car crash. And I absolutely love the his reply: "I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it." This is going to be one of Edward's trademarks and I've already seen quite a few Twilighters loving this quote too! For those who are going "huh", "what", "WTH is she babbling about" or "WTF", GO AND READ THE BOOK! It's the best damn thing out there! Trust me! =)

So anyway, I was really, really disappointed with MTV Asia. They premiered the MTV Movie Awards yesterday but guess what?! NO PRE-SHOW!! The pre-show's important too you know! They showed the exclusive Twilight scene from the movie and they didn't even show it?! I wanna watch it on the tube though I've watched it like a million times on the computer but I wanna experience watching it on the telly!! I haven't been updating my blog for quite a while now due to my busy schedule of not studying.. hehe but instead constant monitoring of the Twilight Singapore blog. I've actually created a blog for Twilighters in Singapore. [For dummies: Twilighters is the name for fans of the Twilight series created by Stephenie Meyer].

However, I'm grateful for other Singaporean Twilighters who are now members of the Twilight Singapore community. Without them, I don't think the blog can function anymore. Thanks a lot guys! Really appreciate your help! =)

After creating the blog and maintaining it, we've decided to organise a Twilight Singapore movie outing so that we Twilighters in Singapore can watch the movie together. This will take a lot of hard work and time. Hopefully we will be able to make this outing happen!

Anyway, it's the weekend and two more days till school opens! Next few weeks will be very busy with ICAs, tests and not to mention NAPFA! Hate it!! Why must poly students take NAPFA?! Can't wait to get it over and done with!

Well... next Saturday I might be going to Suntec to accompany Anisa to the Anime Convention... haven't been in one though. 'Tis my first time... hehe.

Awww... life's a bliss! I came back from my short KL trip last night and the past 2 days was just blissful. Though, I would rather stay a few more for the shopping but one thing that I really, really love is the the FOOD!! KL is heaven for us Muslims here in Singapore. The restaurants that we can't eat here, we can it eat there. It's a luxury!!

So on Saturday morning, left home at 5am and what a surprise we got! At 6am the causeway was already jammed! We Singaporeans are really kiasu! Anyway we left really early cos when we reach JB, we would straight away proceed to Negeri Sembilan with my aunt to fetch her children from KTJ (a Malaysian boarding school) and then we would proceed to KL. Once we reach KL, we had our lunch at IKEA which was heavenly! The food in IKEA here is not even halal and well it was a bliss to try the hotdog and the meals there! Love the meatballs!! =P

So after having lunch in IKEA we proceeded to our hotel called Dharby Park Hotel which is a 15 minutes walk to the twin towers. I was so blind that I didn't know my room was facing the twin towers when it reached dusk, I finally noticed the bright light emanating from the towers! By the way, the twin towers at night is beautiful! So my parents and I went to KLCC Suria for tea and a bit of shopping. Following after that, we had dinner at another hotel,Eastin which serves Japanese cuisine. All that I have to say is, delicioso!! The oyster was nice and not to forget the okonomiyaki! After a tasteful, dinner went back to the hotel for a good night's slepp. End of Day 1.

The next morning, had breakfast at the hotel itself and after that, I followed my aunt and my mom to KLCC. It was a lovely stroll from the hotel to the shopping center. If I stayed longer, we could get more shopping done! =) So after returning to the hotel, we packed and left the hotel. We then had lunch at Pavillion Mall where my cousin Anisa says, serve the best western food! True to her word, TONY ROMA'S was INCREDIBLE! I ordered a rib-eye steak and it was so tender! It was heavenly!! It's the best place so far other than TGIF! I wouldn't mind migrating to KL for the food! You can eat anywhere! Next time, I would like to try Marche's, Pastamania, Carl's Jr and many many more!! =)

The trip was fun! The long drive to KL is worth it, not because of the shopping but the FOOD!! =P

You guys might think I'm crazy to wake up really early in the morning to blog. Well... I'm dressed and ready to drive off to JB soon. Once I reach JB, I'll see my aunt and we're off to KL together. It's just a one day trip but I'm excited! It's been ages since I've visited KL especially the food!!

MTV Movie Awards 2008, one of the coolest movie awards ever, went live this morning from Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre in California. Sadly for us fans in Asia, we can only watch it on later date. But fret no more, MTV has uploaded the video of the movie awards on-demand!! Yes! You can now watch them now instead of waiting! However, I'll still be watching it again just to watch the pre-show and of course Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart! =)

needle prick injury anyone?

I'm bummed! Seriously... I need a break! Tomorrow's the start of a whole new set of modules and it's already stressing me out! Apart from that, there are countless of ICA presentations in the coming weeks and my group seriously feel like dying right now... especially me!!

We've just finished making a video for our Final Year Project (FYP) at my house and it was fun! We're doing on innovation and we're kinda innovating the syringe and the needle so that it's safe and user friendly in the future for us Staff Nurses. =)

So anyway, we created a video on how a staff nurse can prick herself accidentally with a needle. Qin Ting was the nurse, Weilun the patient, Hanisah the little girl who caused Qin Ting to accidentally "pricked" her finger, Eunice the camera woman, Hui Scen the director and me, the narrator. The whole shooting process was fun especially when Eunice literally asked the contraction worker to stop drilling so that we could record the video without any background noise! She actually leaned out the window and tried to catch the attention of the worker! That was simply hilarious!

Anyway, now I'm pretty psyched and really restless about tonight or maybe tomorrow morning. MTV Movie Awards will be showing a full action scene of Twilight for their pre-show and badly enough, it's now shown in Asia LIVE!! WHY!! So now, I'm either planning to stay up really late just to watch the video which they will post it on their blog after they air it (which is kinda frustrating... cos I don't know what time is it now in HOLLYWOOD!) or wake up really early tomorrow morning and watch it! Either way, watching the video will certainly make me scream, squeal, shriek, hyperventilate or even faint! Nah... I don't think it'll be that serious cos I've hyperventilated when they showed clips of the full action Twilight scene before. Proceed to Twilight Singapore to know more! ;)

Alright... I'm done posting here. Anxiously waiting for the Twilight and of course ROBERT PATTINSON! Or should I say... Spunk Ransom! Tee hee

I'm bumped. I'm tired. I'm having a headache... but I'm feeling ecstatic tonight! In just half an hour, Channel 5 will air one of my favourite shows of all time, other than Gossip Girl (which I think Channel 5 will not air cos of sex, partial nudity and yeah did I say sex?! LOL).

Anyway, SAMANTHA WHO? has arrived on our shores and I LOVE IT!! *grins* I'm watching the season all over again! Watch it on-line and I love it! And the best part is not only is Christina Applegate starring in it but Cecilia Ahern is the creator of this show! One of my favourite authors created this darn good and hilariously funny show! (Mind you, Cecilia Ahern wrote the bestselling novel P.S. I Love You which has been made into a fabulous movie, Where Rainbows End and other good novels)

Okay... so I haven't eaten and well got to feel my stomach first before re-watching Samantha Who? again. Catch up with you guys later! Ciao!

We all thought that our favourite characters will settle their differences and get back together... but well that's Gossip Girl, full of surprises! Finally, Georgina's out of the picture for now... she might be coming back for the 2nd season. But what surprises me is Chuck Bass. Poured out his feelings to his other half, whom you know as Blair Waldorf and when his dad told him about his responsibilities when getting a girlfriend, he backfired. He doesn't want to leave his wild side behind... he wants to keep it. And what does he do? Left Blair standing alone on the tarmac and flirted with Lily Bass's new interior designer! Sick Bass!

Anyway, it's sad that S & D are no more but I have a gut feeling that in the 2nd season, D & V will get closer and well S & N... starts all over again. Well... we'll just have to wait for September 21st. I really hope Blair will find her happiness... especially with the new guy she just met. They look good together! =)

Yonica Babyyeah, an oversexed East Asian pop star who remarkably is played by the talented Hilary Duff! Gotta love her!! Hilary's plays her so well, that you just forget that she's Hilary but just a cute, oversexed pop star! I saw some videos of her singing songs from the movie and the title of the songs are just hilarious! It's even more hilarious if you see her singing it... in a good way! She's too cute and innocent to do that and sing those songs! =)

Yes.. I know, another Twilight post but what can you say, I'm an obsessed freak! =)

Okay, you might be wondering what's with me calling out to any guys to join the Twilight scene. First of all, most of you might think that Twilight is targeted to teens - specially for teenage girls. Na-ah, think again! You might be surprised that there are adults reading Twilight - mothers, aunts, grandmothers etc. However, the most shocking thing will be GUYS reading Twilight! Okay, guys out there might ask, what does Twilight have that attract these guys?!

1. Though it may be a romance novel, doesn't mean that romance is the only thing that occupies the first page till the last.
2. It involves vampires, fast cars (Volvo, Mercedes, BMW and a monster truck!)
3. There's a fight scene at the very end involving vampires
4. In the following series, werewolves are introduced and you get to read the interaction between both mythical creatures.

If you're still not convinced enough, there are Twilight Guys around the globe who give their opinion about why they like Twilight.

Now, for those who are wondering whether TWILIGHT is a really good book. Well... it really is! As Stephenie said: "A good book, is a good book for any age."
I can't tell you how brilliantly good it is, you just gotta get a hold on of the book and read it!! If you're to become a new Twilighter, here are some advice tips that were given by other Twilighters. These were taken from More Twilight Goodness - Film School Rejects

" Tips:
1. When reading Twilight in public, try to refrain from going “aww” if Edward says something sweet, or people will stare at you.
2. Try not to slip into “twilight talk” with your friends, because if you start going on about how you “love edward cullen so much,” they’ll want to know who it is. When you explain he’s a fictional character they’ll seem confused until you brainwash them to read it. Try to be patient with them.
3. In New Moon, don’t hold back tears when it gets sad. Many fans have cried over this book (Myself included)
4. Do not judge Jacob Black. Everyone has their own opinion of him and they’re entitled to it.
5. In Eclipse, try not to yell at the book if you get frustrated.
6. Don’t let anyone borrow your copies of the book unless you don’t want to see them again. Because if someone “borrows” it, they’ll become addicted and try to steal it from you.
7. After reading the books, when you listen to music you’ll relate every song you hear to the series. Don’t worry, that’s normal.
8. After finishing Twilight, if you don’t own all three books you’ll go insane until you find them. Like someone said earlier, buy all three at once. It will save you unnecessary suffering and anxiety.
9. You’ll form a love/hate feeling towards Bella. You’ll like her character, and yet be very jealous of her at the same time.
10. Enjoy the books, and try not to go completely crazy waiting for August 2nd. "

"My recommendations…

Make sure you don’t have anything much to do the next day. When I first read Twilight, I literally could not stop reading until I finished, which was rather late into the night. And then I had to go to school the next day! Not that fun.

Also, make sure you know a friend or someone you can talk to who has read the books. That was my other problem. I didn’t personally know anyone else who had, and so I was stuck with amazing books that I NEEDED to talk about but couldn’t!

Finally, once you finish, read them through again! The first time you read through so fast that you miss things. In fact, I still notice new things even after reading them…um…very large number…times! Stephenie is such an amazing writer that every little detail is enjoyable and significant, so make sure not to miss them."

Alright... well I certainly agree with both comments above. Firstly, I've related some songs to Twilight like No Air, Fall For You and Almost Lovers.

And secondly, I personally don't know anyone else who reads Twilight well except for my cousins who sadly are overseas. So I'm currently waiting for Jahiza to finish her O's, read the series, be obsessed as I am before the movie comes out so that we can gush about how sweet and romantic Edward is!

And thirdly, I totally agree that you have to read the series more than once! I've done so for all 3 books and well... you'll get more information and understand the character deeper. =)

Well... hopefully, more Singaporeans are reading Twilight and well, I'm really hoping that when the movie comes out, it'll be a BIG HIT!

5 Centimeters per second is how fast a cherry blossom petal falls to the ground. A realistically beautiful yet melancholic anime. A story of two people who were meant to be together but didn't in the end. A 3 episode japanese animation that really hits close to the soul and yet realistically, it does happen to almost anyone.

A friendship that started really young but was separated and the only means were through writing. A teenage girl that was too scared to express her feelings as she knew that the guy had feelings for another. Years gone by, and both souls have went their separate ways. When paths crossed and the opportunity has arisen, one couldn't wait no longer and moved on. An ending that none of the viewers expected, it shows the reality of life and love. A beautiful anime that all must watch. Here's a clip of the last episode.

Happy birthday to Robert Pattinson! He turns 22 today! Anyway, Robert fans have been really busy making videos for him and even to the extent of sending gifts to him! Those are really hard-core Robert cum Twilight fans!! I wanted to make a video but was too shy to post a video greeting for Robert... hehe

Anyway, since last month, a trio of girls who called themselved "Devilishtrio" has requested Twilighters or Robert fans to make a greeting for him via YouTube and the response has been overwhelming! The Devilishtrio has sent their part 1 of their Robert B-Day project to Robert few weeks ago and they have just sent the second part which consists of a CD that contains video greeting from fans worldwide. How hardcore is that!? =)

They will post the official video of the Robert B-Day Project on YouTube on 13th May (which is today... but well I think I've gotta wait cos due to the time difference...) and I can't wait to see what the fans have sent him! Anyway, the Devilishtrio have posted a video of them sending the CD to the post office. Enjoy!

The bloopers at the end were hilarious especially the yellow Porsche! "It's a sign!" LOL. For those who aren't familiar with the Twilight series, well, the yellow Porsche was Edward's gift to Alice... as a bribe to keep Bella safe from the werewolves and the human-blood sucking vampires. =)

Finally, Monday has ended. Thank god! This morning was a terrifying experience for me! I was picked to be one of the nurses to perform in a simulation based learning and well.... all I have to say is thank god that's over! =)

Anyway, today's a pretty long day and my left shoulder hurts like hell. Reminder, take it easy when you want to lift weights, unlike me, who suddenly starts lifting weights after a long time! Now, I'm paying the price for it! Dang! So finished school at around 4.30pm and went to the library to pass my time. Good thing Ridzwan and Yu Chan were there.... so I had some company. While waiting for my brother to pick me up from school, I began doodling and well... the end result, a picture of Bella and Edward. I copied it from one of the Twilight pictures.

I know... it doesn't look the same but heck, it's good eh? Hehe... though my Edward doesn't look Edwardy at all but Bella looks great! =)

Anyway, Stephenie's really getting her recognition even after her latest book The Host came out on May 6th. She was in Texas for her book signing and the response was remarkable. I've got a video here where a Barnes & Nobles spokesperson was introducing Stephenie Meyer and well, as to expect, her fans went wild!! That's Stephenie's fans for you! You rock Stephenie!! =)

I watched Ironman last night with my cousins and gotta say it was pretty cool! It was my first time entering the new E!Hub at Downtown East and the place looks awesome... though I'm staying near the area! =) I can't imagine watching Twilight on the big screen... ok maybe not at Downtown East but either The Cathay or GV Vivo City. It's spacious and has the best sound system and well, maybe it'd get me to swoon when I hear Edward's voice! =P

Anyway, tomorrow Gossip Girl's showing their latest episode called Women on the Verge and well I've watched the sneak peaks... it's getting pretty intense! Serena's life has went downhill when Georgina came to town to visit her and I kinda hate G for that! Anyway, here are the sneak peaks.

Stressed!

It's been one hell of a week! Firstly, almost every day I'm having group meetings for our upcoming presentations and Final Year Project. Secondly, the Twilight Teaser Trailer has finally made its debut and thirdly, I just bought The Host by Stephenie Meyer yesterday! It's a surprise to see the books arranged so neatly once you enter Borders and yet nobody's buying it!! Anyway, I'm already getting hooked to the book just by reading the first few chapters! That's what happens if you read Stephenie's books!! =)

Anyway, you might have read my previous Twilight posts where I mention about the release of the Twilight teaser trailer on the official movie website? Well... it's the same video teaser trailer video that's showing on My Space. The official movie trailer where it will last like 2-3 minutes or longer will only be shown when the release date is nearing. So we Twilighters gotta wait. However, those who can't seem to get more of Twilight (like me), go and buy Penelope DVD when it comes out. (Christina Ricci starred in Penelope where she had that infamous pig snout!). The DVD will contain extra footage on Twilight!!! Can't wait!!

Hey guys!! It's been a while since I've written a regular post without mentioning anything about Twilight... but sorry you can't stop me. I'm a Twilighter and from now on, most of my post will be about the Twilight Saga! =)

Anyway, let's talk normal stuff! I've had my clinical theory test and I felt that I did pretty okay. All those mugging and lazing around at the same time helps... and of course add in sneaking off to re-read Eclipse! Hehe. Secondly, I'm kinda excited about the Australian Study Trip that I might be going this September with my school. It's a 7 day trip to Sydney and apart from enjoying myself and having fun, I would also be visiting universities and hospitals there too! Looks kinda fun when you add in cruising with the dolphins, shopping, sight-seeing, shopping and more shopping!! =)

Drifting away from my normal life, I'm going to blabber about Twilight again!! Trust me you can't stop me! Even Jahiza, my cousin, was awed by my dedication... (anyway I pestered her yesterday to watch the teaser trailer. If you haven't watch it, what are you doing reading my post! Scroll down and watch it! Kidding..)

So as usual, my first priority after checking my mail is to visit Twilight Lexicon and behold! The movie poster is out, with Edward (Robert) and Bella (Kristen) together!!

I'm kinda jealous of the other Twilighters living in the States... they get to watch the movie on December 12 while us Asian Twilighters might only be able to see it in June next year!! Hopefully Summit Entertainment will be able to push the release date forward for us Asian fans! *Haiz*

Twilight fan made videos

Happy Labour Day! Anyway, I know it's been quite awhile since I've posted. Busy with school and projects and maybe I've got nothing to talk about! LOL

I've been wanting to post this brilliantly made fan made videos but didn't have the time until now. I'm now having the opportunity to post these videos thanks to my cousin Jahizah, who wants to know why suddenly I like trance music. It's only ONE trance music and no more.... I only like this one that's all. Anyway, these fan made Twilight videos are awesome and they were made by Smokeyfizz who are brilliant in all these fan made videos. The way they mash scenes together to fit into the theme is incredible! If only I had a creativity streak in me... haha.

Anyway, this first video is called Bella - Beautiful Things and it's all about Bella. This video includes scenes from all three books - Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. So yeah... it'll inlcude Edward and Jacob. Just a personal note, Kristen Stewart is Bella. Robert Pattinson is Edward and Steven Strait is Jacob ALTHOUGH Taylor Lautner is the official Jacob, I guess because there are no movie scenes of the 16 year old Taylor except for The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl and Cheaper By The Dozen 2. Furthermore, this is also the reason why I like trance because of the song Beautiful Things by Andian feat DJ Tiesto.

Meet the Twilight Characters

Once I've read that MTV news has a new video about the Twilight movie, I knew that I had to watch it and boy did it make me squeal and made my heart beat a million times faster. Just a warning, the video below contains spoilers, and if you're someone like me who don't give a crap about spoilers, enjoy and scream your hearts out... like I did! =)

Watching behind-the-scenes of all the scenes has made me hyperventilate and I really can't wait for December 12!! I literally screamed when the scene where Edward kissed Bella on the forehead. If you guys remember, that's the hospital scene after Bella got attacked by James and Edward was reluctant to kiss her again cos well the heart monitor went flat due to Bella's inability to calm herself... hehe.

no air... OMFG

It's back to school for me and being in 3rd year is getting to me. I've had lectures and tutorials on my final year nursing project plus add in multiple ICAs. And after the first semester is done, I'll be away on attachment for the next semester which includes PRCP for 12 weeks straight which I'll be preparing myself for the working force.

Anyway, let's de-tense myself and start talking about the happy moments! =)
As you might have noticed, I've changed my music again and this time it's by Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown. Lots of you might say that the music was like so popular eons ago but well you know... I'm not the up-to date kind of person. =P

However, I chose this song because it's meaningful in a way to me. I've finished reading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer (the second book of the popular Twilight saga) and well in New Moon, Bella was depressed because of Edward's leaving. Well, while I was reading the book, the song No Air came up on my mp3 and I was like "OMG! The song totally fits Bella's perspective!" So after listening to it once, I replay it and listen intently to the lyrics and I was almost squealing with joy.... in my head... literally LOL. The song totally fits!! And from then on, I keep playing the song first whenever I on my CREATIVE Zen. Obsessed much? Hehe

Try 110% obsessed when you keep watching the same video, over and over again! I can't help myself! Robert looks great as Edward especially when he has those gorgeous fake topaz eyes on!! Which girl wouldn't squeal when you see your the guy of your dreams on the big screen, dazzling both the lead female (Kristen) and you at the same time?!

OK... let's drift away from Twilight and let's move on to the next best thing... Gossip Girl. The CW has been promoting the new upcoming episodes with OMFG!! Love the caption and gotta love the racy scenes that they put together for the promo! Just look at the picture below!

A new horror and thriller movie's coming out soon here in Singapore on 24th April and I think I would like to watch it! Yes! A shocking discovery! I, Nasyita would finally like to watch a horror/thriller movie for once without forcing me to!

You might wanna ask what's with the sudden interest? Well, firstly, the movie looks really good. Brittany Murphy and Kellan Lutz is in it. You might wonder who Kellan is right? Well he'll be playing Emmet Cullen in Twilight and I thought I'd see how he is though I know he really is HOT!

I'm really in awe cos Westlife has been one of the longest boybands ever and I'm probably going to buy their new album Back Home, together with Leona Lewis's and Prince & Me soundtrack... hopefully it's still selling. Luke Mably is HOT as Prince Edvard!! Heehee... I still have my teenage antics... I know haha.

I'm re-reading the Twilight series New Moon and still can't get over the fact that Twilight is being made into a movie!! Entertainment Tonight has an exclusive behind the scenes of the movie and I'm already jumping on my seat! The dance room scene is one of the crucial scenes in the book and I'm already loving it and not to mention the crash scene too!! Remarkable! Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson looks like the perfect Bella Swan and Edward Cullen!! Love them!! the prince and me

I'm known as the outdated one in my family and yes I have to admit that they're right. Tonight was my first night watching the full-length movie of "The Prince and Me" on StarWorld. I remembered not caring about the movie when it first came out in 2004. I thought it'll be like a copy of "The Princess Diaries: The Movie" but I'm wrong. It's totally original and a true chic-flick!

A few weeks ago, I watched the sequel on StarMovies but it was almost at the end so I didn't really get the gist of the story but I know what it's all about. By the way, the actor who replaced Julia Stiles is *vomit in toilet bowl*... you get my gist. So after watching it, I told myself that I seriously have to watch the original but it took me till today to watch it... busy with work and stuff... I know... I'm always giving excuses.

Anyway, I was thinking of watching The Prince and Me online tomorrow but I was super ecstatic when I browse through the movie guide when it'll be showing after Oprah at 8pm! Being a chick-flick junkie, I had to watch and I really, really love it! It was so touching, romantic and super awwwhh!! I like Prince Edvard! He's cute!! Tee-hee....

I love how the story flows but felt that Julia was a bit stiff though but I still love her! She was great in Save The Last Dance and Mona Lisa Smile. Gotta love that movie!

Eight more months to go and the Twilight movie will be completed. Set to be released during the Christmas season, it'll be a big hit in the cinemas and hopefully worldwide too. The casts are now shooting in Kalama, Washington and the progress is getting really good!! However there are still haters out there who still don't like the choice of actors and I'll tell them you're not a true fan and you have no sympathy for the actors' feelings. IF you're true "Twi-hards" you'll support whoever will be playing the characters. Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) has been given the cold reaction from alot of haters when he was first casted but to me and the rest of supporters, he is the PERFECT Edward. Just like Taylor Lautner playing Jacob Black. I was awed when I saw this video called The Twilight Project and it's from fans from all over the world supporting the TWILIGHT CASTS 100%! Love the video!

OMG... I'M A SHOPAHOLIC - TO - BE!!

I cannot stop spending!! Even if it's the basic stuff! Ok... so today I went to White Sands to buy my ingredients for my Blondies and I already planned to buy hair conditioner from Watsons and make-up here and there for tomorrow's dinner. And I was gobsmacked when I found out that everything that I bought costs $30 over!! Sometimes discount sales can be very, very and I mean very deceiving! 20% of everything! And here I thought Silkygirl's cheap!!

Ok... maybe it's partially my fault. I should have just bought one eyeshadow rather than two and just buy one lip gloss instead of a lipstick and lip gloss together. But come to think of it, all these things might be useful in the future! It's like an investment... like how Becky Bloomwood thinks! My gosh... I cannot be a shopaholic!!

Ok... I wanted to list down the things that I've bought but I lost the receipt (not on purpose!!) but I know that the most expensive was the lip gloss but it was worth it!! It looks so good on me!!

Okay... I should spending! ANYWAY, I've reserved $50 to buy a Taylor Swift album that my new-found friend whom I met from FRIENDSTER and is a HILARY DUFF fan reserved for me from HMV! Tomorrow I have a budget of less than $50/-!!!

Hopefully I keep to my budget... please!!

Robert Pattinson is the perfect edward

Ok... this post is a reply to one of the bloggers who tagged my blog. Well... at first I wasn't really sure about Robert playing Edward but it got to me after I saw these Cullen pictures (below). He might not be the perfect Edward that you have in mind but I bet he can play the part very well.

AND Stephenie herself has said that Robert is the perfect Edward. Below is the video from her German tour and the question to her was about the casts in Twilight movie. She was happy with them especially Robert Pattinson himself.

Why don't you try to accept Robert and maybe he will play a really good Edward. Although he doesn't have the looks like Gaspard Ulliel, it's how he portrays the character well that counts. I really wish him all the best and he really will be the perfect Edward Cullen.

shopping, shopping and more shopping

I have a feeling I spent more than what I should have but most of the things that I bought are reasonable though. I met up with my aunt for lunch today and we ate at Sakura's in Far East Plaza. I planned to go to my grandmom's after lunch but my aunt suggested why don't I walk around Orchard and wait for her till she finish at 4.30 so we can go back home together. Agreeable, we walk back to where we met and went on our separate ways.

So my first shopping trip was in Borders at Wheelock. I wanted to search for Libba Bray's The Sweet Far Thing for my cuzz Anisa but it wasn't there. Instead, I bought Jodi Picoult's new book - Change of Heart which was unexpected. Anyway, I've already plan on what to buy: going out shoes, a bag but I bought more than what I wanted.

My spending kinda remind me of Becky Bloomwood from Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. But I'm not that bad as her... haha. So after going to Borders, I went to Wisma Atria's Charles & Keith whose having a sale but the shoes... I don't like. Then went to Forever 21... wanted to buy some tops but over my budget of $50. Too much. New shoes and bag at the back of my mind, I went to Pretty Fit but the shoes are just too ex and anyway, they don't have any of my sizes... too bad. Quite disappointed, went to Hula % Co and OMG!! They have really, really good tops. I browsed through the racks and saw one that caught my eye! It was B-E-A-UTIFUL!! I MUST GET IT... though hesitant at first, I put it back to its rack but a few white girls came in and one of them was also browsing the same rack as me... so I thought to myself, better get it now or they'll take it! It was like a matter of live or die situation! Come to think of it... I'm a bit like Becky Bloomwood! Gosh! I can't believe it... it was like her Denny and George scarf but it wasn't on sale though. Anyway, happy I've got 2 carriers... one from Cotton Up... bought 2 long sleeve t-shirts there. 2 for $30!! It's a bargain!!

Still, my mind on shoes and bag, went to Takashimaya and I was really shocked that Accecorize is expensive here!! UK must be cheap then. I didn't manage to find my things so I thought of going to Tangs since it was almost 4. When I went to Tangs it was heaven!! I finally found my shoes and it only cost $19.90!! Super-glad, I bought it and well finished my shopping for the day!

However, it kinda suck shopping on your own cos I don't have advice from anybody about my shoes but I really love the ones that I bought! Even my mom says it has a nice cut!! Yay for me!!

Okay... so I thought of calculating my whole expenditure of the day.

Book from Borders............ $22.45 (after 10% cos I'm a member)

Hula & Co top................ $36.90 (Ok... expensive but I have to have it!)

HOLY CRAP!! THAT'S ONE DAY!! DAMN I SHOULD STOP SPENDING SO MUCH!! DAMN IT! DAMN IT! I HAVE TO HAVE A BUDGET!! Ok from now I on, I promise to write down all my expenditure and MUST ENSURE THAT I HAVE IT BELOW $100 OR EVEN BETTER BELOW $50!!

Alright... I can do it! I can't be the next Becky Bloomwood! I have to be thrifty! I'll try my very best and will write down my expenditure and maintain by budget! GOOD LUCK TO ME!!

Hersheys Blondies

Today I felt really weird but really motivated at the same time! It was like a craving... a must-do for me! I was watching Debbie Travis Face-lift when I started to have this craving for chocolates. So I went to the fridge browsing through the junk and decided to take one piece of eclaire with hazelnut candy when I saw Hershey's Real Semi-Sweet Mini Choc Chips. It's for baking but I don't mind. Tastes better than milk chocolate anyway. So I was nibbling a few bits when I turned to the back and saw some recipes and one of them caught my eye. It was Mini-Choc Blondies recipe and looked through the ingredients and thought to myself, maybe I should make these.

Anyway, I was dieing to make something this morning after re-reading The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella yesterday. I wanted to bake either a Pavlova or a layered sponge meringue cake, both Nigella Lawson recipes but I had to drop by the supermarket to get the ingredients. Thank god the Blondies recipe was really simple - just plain flour, milk, butter, eggs, brown sugar and lots of choc. chips!!

Made the batter and everything and in the middle, I remembered my cousin, Jahiza actually superlatived me in Facebook, nominating me to be the next Martha Stewart and I just blanched at the thought. Yup.. I like to cook and bake but I'm not a domestic goddess like both Nigella and Martha... I don't really like doing housework. Oops, slipped that out.. sorry hehe.

I thought it took 2 hours for me to finish but only a mere half an hour or so! Didn't know it's be that simple and the results turned out to be really, really good! It goes really good with black coffee but too bad I can't drink coffee. Has a different side effect for me actually... I'd sleep rather than being awake! My mom and dad were really impressed with my success and I thought I'd bring it over to my grandma's house tomorrow and let my cousins try... see what they think.

confessions of a shopaholic

I was just browsing through IMDB.com and just trying my luck, I typed "Shopaholic" and to my utter surprise, the popular best-selling series is being made into a movie!! A F***ING MOVIE!! I was shrieking with happiness!!

I'm starting to re-read my Shopaholic series yesterday and this morning I urgently had to go to Popular to buy the second book: Shopaholic Abroad as it seems I've lost my original one... I really can't remember where I placed it or someone borrowed from me and didn't return it. And now I'm more than halfway through the book after reading it for almost a day now!!

I really can't wait for the movie and it'll be coming 13 February 2009 in the U.S.. Lots of good movies coming out this year and the next!! I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!!

Last Saturday was the first mother-daughter outing to the movies. I invited my mom to watch P.S. I Love You in TM since she'll only watch movies that'll make her tear and it did! The movie's really nice and we shed a few tears here and there... well not a few but lots of tears! And I'm really happy that the movie at least followed the book... well except for a few other things like the holiday vacation. It was supposed to be in Italy but it was in Ireland but stranded in the middle of nowhere was amazingly smart! Hehe There was this one scene where Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) ran to her mother's shop and cried her hearts out, releasing all her blocked up emotion. This was the scene where everybody cried and I realised that the whole cinema was dead quiet... and OMG that was the most most dramatic, tensed scene ever! In all, I'm glad I brought my mom to watch the movie. This is the second movie other than A Walk To Remember that made her cry!

Anyway, I've finished The Luxe and it's really, really good. It's definitely a must for Gossip Girl fans!! Imagine reading Gossip Girl with the Upper East Side, Fifth Avenue and Central Park but with a twist. Horse-drawn carriages, elegant dresses and societal gatherings, it will surely blow your mind out. It's a different kind of taste for me but a really good experience. Full of scandals, mysteries and secret affairs, you won't be able to put the book down till the last page! And fret not, the second book The Luxe:Rumours will be coming out in June 3rd! Expect more in the series! Can't wait!!

Talking about Gossip Girl, the new Gossip Girl series featuring The Carlyles twins will be coming out on May 2nd!! New people, new gossip and whole lot of scandals and mysteries!! I'm really starting to wonder who is Gossip Girl. I have this feeling that Chuck Bass is the urban-gossiper and maybe he might make his guest appearance in this new series! You may not know. I can't wait for the new series to hit the shelves! The cover is already making me impatient!! Can't wait till May arrives!!

Another round of good news!! The 10th installment of The A-List Collection: California Dreaming is coming out in April 2!! Can't wait what's going to happen! Anna has officially dumped Ben by taking the same flight with her new beau and former best friend. Callie and Adam has officially call it quits well since Adam was barging in to Ben's new night-club, causing a havoc and punching Ben straight on the face. Well... I can't really wait for the 10th book!!

Gossip Girl Music

As you might know, Gossip Girl is returning on April 21 and I can't wait to listen to their gloriously wonderful soundtrack. Thanks to GG, I might have a small itch for Indie music and some other genres that I didn't favor before. So now, while awaiting for April to zoom by, I thought of picking out some of the best songs from Gossip Girl soundtrack. Enjoy!!

Episode #1: Pilot
This was the iconic song for the opening of Gossip Girl and it all starts with whistling! Yup... you guessed it, Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John. Listening to it now, you might imagine the scene where Serena's on the train ride home to NY, leaning her head on the window sill....

Episode #2: The Wild Brunch
Remember the last scene? Serena was browsing through her pictures of Blair, Nate and her together and in the end she threw away her phone? Well... the chorus of that song was nice. It's by The Bravery and it's called Believe. Here's a peek...

Episode #3: Poison Ivy
This is the episode where Serena and Blair were tripping each other with their field hockey sticks and the catchy song that was playing during this scene fits just right - I Got It From My Momma by Will.I.Am.

Episode #4: Bad News Blair
Remember this episode? Blair caught Serena "betraying" her when she saw Serena at her mom's photo shoot modeling her mom's creation. Well the opening scene was a scene taken out from Blair's favourite movie: Breakfast At Tiffany's and the song playing was Moon River which coincidentally is also in BAT Sountrack.

The next song in the same episode is Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston where both best friends were seen taking photos of themselves around New York in Eleanor Waldorf's creation. Cute!

Episode #5: Daredevil
Who doesn't remember Blair acting drunk in front of the nurse while Jenny tries to sneak Eric out of the rehabilitation center? In this episode, Blair had to invite Jenny to her soirée as Serena was busy with Dan. During the soirée, Blair had Jenny dressed up in different types of clothing and the song playing then was Prima J, Rockstar.

Episode #6: The Handmaiden's Tale
You're invited to The Masquerade Ball and oohh someone got mistaken for Serena. Same blonde hair, same mask... remember it? In this episode apart from Nate expressing his love, he was supposed to find Blair and start all over again but he didn't. This is one of the song's that I really, really like and it's Timebomb by Beck.

The ending song might not be a happy ending after all for Blair since Nate didn't find her in time but it was for both Serena and Dan. It's a beautiful song and the lyrics are meaningful too. Here's Happy Ending by Mika.

Episode #7: Victor/Victrola
One of the scandalous episodes ever... Blair burlesque dancing and ending up in Chuck's limo? This episode has by far one of the most talked about and searched for song but I'll get back to that in a minute. Remember Blair's burlesque dancing? Well the song was kinds stuck to my head and well my cousin loved it too. She was dancing to Stripper by Soho Dolls.

The most memorable song ever in this episode is played during the scene where Blair and Chuck were making out in his limo (which I hate) and after that episode, everybody was asking what's the title of that song. Even though I was really shocked by the outcome of the scene but the song was really nice! It's called With Me by Sum 41!

Episode #8: Seventeen Candles
It's Blair's 17th birthday and her theme was Japanese if you realised. In this episode most of the soundtrack was from The Virgins but remarkably and Asian group made their appearance and it's Puffy Ami Yumi. Their songs might be childish like "Teen Titans" but at least it they're known in the West. Their song that was played was Nice Buddy.

One of the songs from The Virgins that I really like is Radio Christiane by The Virgins. If I'm not wrong, this was the ending song.

Episode #9: Blair Waldorf Must Pie
This is the Thanksgiving special and this is the episode where Blair's bulimic side was seen. It was heart wrenching to see her in that situation but it was touching when Serena came in and consoled her. Furthermore this is the episode where the van der Woondsen's and the Humphreys had a Thanksgiving together that didn't go too well as planned. However, the last song was what caught my attention. Nolita Fairytale by Vanessa Carlton was playing when the Humphreys were enjoying themselves in Central Park by playing football.

Episode #10: Hi, Society
You're invited to the Debutante ball and this ball really has good music. Featuring The Pierces, one of their songs Secret was played when the debutantes were waltzing with their partners and the place where Nate punched Carter, Serena's partner. Here's the song.. you'll love it!

Another song by The Pierces is Three Wishes. I can't remember which scene did the music play but if you recall, the song for this episode promo was Three Wishes.

The last song for this episode and the most wanted is Apologize. This was played when Blair and Nate were in a room together and you know what happens next...

Episode #11: Roman Holiday
All the songs from this episode were Christmas songs so I don't have any favs here.

Episode #12: School Lies
The second last episode of the season and trouble ensues between the Constance Billard and St. Jude's students. In this episode, Ed Westwick's (Chuck Bass)band, The Filthy Youth made an appearance with 2 of their songs: Come Flash All Your Ladies and Orange.Here's a peek:

The last song of the episode and one of the best from OneRepublic is Come Home. This was played when The Basses and the van der Woodsen's were having a family "bonding" time. It's a really nice song and quite mellow too. Here's a peek:

Episode #13: Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate
The last episode of the season and one of the most tragic for Blair. This episode has quite a few good songs. One of them is Dashboard Confessional with their song Where There's Gold.

This next song really made me smile. This was the song played during the promo of this episode and the scene where Blair was walking through Central Park, gloomy and depressed after the news of her sleeping with Chuck and Nate. The song playing was The Air We Breathe by The Figurines.

Finally, the finale for the last episode was the sweetest and loveliest ever! Having a best like Serena is a blessing. If Serena didn't come in time, Blair might have left for Paris and it might all start all over again but with Blair this time. The song playing during the scene was Happily Never After by Nicole Scherzinger. This is the song that's also playing in my blog. Gotta love it!

Okay... so these are my fav music during the GG episodes and I can't wait for more when GG comes back again on April 21!!

Finally my holidays are here and my exams are out of my mind, I went out today with my cousins Adnan and Hidhir for lunch at Breeks! Orchard. It was sort of like a birthday treat for Hidhir. After lunch went to Kino for a while and was relieved that The Luxe is still in stock... though only two books left. Then went to Borders at Wheelock to check if Libba Bray's The Sweet Farthing is in stock for Anisa but nada...

Anyway, it was quite a tiring day, walking around Orchard Road. I managed to finish a book that I bought from Times.It's a story written by Jenna Bush, based on her work with UNICEF. It's an autobiography about this girl, Ana who was infected with Aids through her parents and her growing up, being abused by family members, being abandoned and finding love. It's a touching story. Though the style of writing might be for children but the message is put across. A good book to read and something to ponder about too.

Well now I can't wait to read The Luxe... imagine living in 17th century Upper East Side....

I have tons and tons of good news ranging from food, movies, shows!! 2008 seems to be a very good year!! Okay... I'll go in order.

1. After coming back from my Jakarta holidays and missing the donuts there, I dreamt that a particular donut franchise would sell their delicious donuts here in S'pore. And mind you it was only a dream and I was having fun drinking their coffee, eating their donuts, lounging in the cafe. So I was practically jumping with joy when I read that J.CO is now in S'pore!! YUP YOU HEARD IT RIGHT!! Instead of us cousins traveling to Batam and buy the donuts, we can just go to Raffles City!! Jija, book a day so that we can go out and eat DONUTS!! LOL

2. For Twilight fans, you definitely know there's going to be a movie. Not only do we know the casts for Bella and Edward but also The Cullens, Jessica, Eric, Mike, James and Victoria!! That means the cast is almost complete and it'll never be if there's no Jacob!! So here are the actors that'll be playing the characters!! I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!

3. As you know, the Writer's Strike is over and shows that were on hiatus are coming back. So this means that my favourite show GOSSIP GIRL is coming back!!! Hopefully, it'll be coming out in April if the viewer ratings are really good. But if it's not that good it might be coming in Fall... around August. So GG fans, cross your fingers and hope for the best. However one thing's confirmed though, the show might last until 5-6 episodes.... so that means 20 episodes altogether!! Can't wait!!

I went to Changi Airport with my bro today since he wanted to walk around T3. I didn't want to go at first but when I thought about it, I might be able to drop by T2 and look out for Hilary's perfume, With Love and YES I FOUND IT! It costs $88 for 100ml of perfume which includes a free bracelet which I'm wearing right now. It smells really nice. It has that spicy and oriental smell that my brother kinda likes too.... even though he's not a Duff fan. He says it smells like caramel. Really sultry and musky.

So after I bought the perfume that I waited for so long to get, we went to T3 and it was AMAZING! I like the way where the arrival is separated by a glass wall and you can actually see the transit area. It's really cool!! Jija... you'll love the place cos there's all these artsy stuff that you'll love! We walked around, exploring the place. There's a Harris bookstore and Chomel just to name a few. I read there was a Secret Recipe but it was in B2. It was really tiring walking around and my brother decided to go back up as there was this appetizing coffee shop called Tosto. So we went there to check it out and the coffee was delicious! They kinda sell Italian coffee. I ordered Espresso with milk hazelnut coffee which I kinda forgot it's unique name right now but do check it out! They have another outlet at T2, the arrival hall just a few blocks down McDonalds. You'll love the coffee trust me. My brother and I were kind of disappointed that we didn't bring our camera but it was fun.

My head kinda feels heavy right now cos I'm not a coffee person actually. Coffee makes me sleepy and not awake. Weird isn't it? Well.. anyway gotta ciao!

After the last episode of GG aired, I suddenly became withdrawn and restless every Tuesday nights cos that's the time where I would on my computer and watch new episodes of GG. Fortunately, CW (the channel where they aired GG in the States) featured a new segement of Gossip Girl called "Gossip Girl Revealed". Many thought that they'll be revealing who is Gossip Girl but they were mistaken. It's just a show where the casts talk about fashion, their characters and even gave the fans never before seen deleted scenes and of course bloopers!

I'm sorry to say that I can't put all videos here as there are 13 videos altogether so you'll have to go to YouTube and type "Gossip Girl Revealed". You'll find many links to the various videos. I'm really disgusted and shocked with Singaporeans nowadays. Shows and articles might have talked about kiasu singaporeans 'chopping' their tables with tissue papers and I didn't even care... well cause I didn't experience it once. But the day when I went out for lunch with my parents, I was totally disgusted with it. We Singaporeans actually 'chop' tables with tissue papers? OMG!! I was shaking my head and laughing to myself when I saw tissue papers scrambled all around the unoccupied tables!

Being that my dad and I don't believe in all this tissue paper crap, we usually book our table with either of my family members sitting down at the table and wait for our turn to buy our food. It was only three of us that day. My dad, mom and me. All the corner tables which seats 4 people were occupied so all that's left were conjoined tables which my mom finds it uncomfortable as she had trouble leaving the table if she wasn't seating at the corner seat. It was really cramped actually so we had to find a corner seat for my mom. So when my mom and I were queuing up for food, my dad shifted tables to a corner one. And lo and behold, someone came up to my dad and told him that the table was booked. My dad looked at the lady and asked her how can that be and as you might guess... she told him that she booked the table with tissue papers. My dad looked perplexed and went to my mom who was queuing. Seeing that there was an empty corner table, I rushed towards it and planted my ass down instead of 'chopping' pieces of tissue packets on the table.

I can't believe why people are too lazy to sit their asses down and just wait for their turn to buy their food? Or another solution, just ask your kind friend to buy you the food. Wouldn't that be better?

It was such a drastic news when I heard Gossip Girl will be showing only 13 episodes and the day has finally come to watch the end. Rumours were heard that it may continue after the end of the writer's strike... but fates may change.

The 13th and last episode was the finale which I think was incredibly well done... though I hate the scenes where Rufus and his multiple dates. I want more of Blair and Serena!! It was nice to see more of Dan and Serena and their everlasting relationship. They finally said their I LOVE YOU'S! =)

However, the turning point of this episode was Blair. I really pitied her when everybody "ditched" her, even Nate after he got the message that Blair cheated him with Chuck. But the only person who stood by her and became her leaning shoulder was none other than Serena van der Woodsen. The love and a presence of a best friend can do wonders. What if Blair did took the helicopter to JFK and left for France? Would that be starting it all over again? Blair leaving Serena without saying goodbye and leaving people wondering why?

But with the love and support coming from a best friend, Blair did stayed and I loved the part where Serena said "I'll fight with you". Having a best friend like that to fight along with you even after all the scandal that you had done shows that Serena is a very true friend and I really respect her for that.

So... in all, Episode 13 ended with a great, big bang! It might be that there will be more cause Little Jenny is the new It Girl?? Hmmm... I wonder... Let's hope and pray that Gossip Girl will continue.

Lovely Holiday part I

I’m back from my wonderful and FUN holiday!! Came back this morning at 2 and arrived home around 2.30… really a tiring journey! But well… I broke a record for myself!! Tee hee… After landing in Jakarta, my big family and I went straight to Lembang, Bandung to celebrate Hari Raya Haji which was the next day. We set out to my uncle’s villa high up on the mountain at around 6pm but lo and behold! We were caught in a massive traffic jam all the way for 6 HOURS!! Usually, it’ll take us around 2 and a half hours to reach Lembang but because of the long holiday, people were leaving Jakarta to go home to their families! And boy was it massive!! All the way through the highways! We finally reached at 4 am in the morning!! That was a record for me cos I wasn’t sleepy AT ALL!! Well… I did sleep in the car but I wasn’t sleepy!

Sadly we had to sleep… forced by our mothers cos we’ll need to get up early the next day for the slaughtering. You see during Hari Raya Haji we do our “kurban” to symbolize the meaning of it when Prophet Abraham wanted to slaughter his own son Prophet Ishmael and before he could slit his son’s throat, God replaced Prophet Ishmael with a sheep and that’s how it all began. It’s my second time watching it in Indonesia cos firstly you won’t be able to watch it here in S’pore except for selected mosques and secondly, instead of buying a sheep, you can get a cow for seven million rupiah which is equivalent to S$200. We don’t do kurban to have the meat to ourselves but to distribute the meat to the poor and needy. So after the kurban, we distributed the meat to the villages in the valley. It was a very meaningful day for all of us especially for me as my cousins and I bought a cow together to help the villagers.

Flying Off soon...

Tomorrow's Hari Raya Haji and I'm flying off to Jakarta soon. Soon as in a few hours time. Our flight's at 1450 but it was rescheduled to 1550 so there's still a few more hours left to play with. Yesterday, I found out that one of the shops in Changi Airport sells Hilary's With Love perfume! I was ecstatic and I thought I could buy it before leaving but sadly, my departure's at Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 2 where the shop is!! T_T

Maybe, if I have the chance I could get it or after I my holidays I could purchase it! I mean if I buy it now, I'll have to put it in my luggage cos liquid/solutions aren't allowed in hand luggages! That really sucks!!

Anyway... I can't wait to go for a holiday...but when I come back lots of things to do! Group meetings, basic driving theory test on the 2nd!! I wish time was slower than usual! =P

Anyway... CONGRATULATIONS HADY MIRZA!! You did us proud!! Business class tickets all over the world?! Okay... if it's not for Muttons at Midnight, I wouldn't have known who had won Asian Idol and I was very shocked when Hady won!! He really did us proud!! Well done!!

I'm O+ baby!!

It's finalised!! After 18 years not knowing... I'm an O+ and it was for free!! Tee hee. Well today for my bio practical we did a blood grouping tests so it's really fun for those who doesn't know their blood group! Being an O+ has both its advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, I'm a universal donor which means if anybody who is not the same blood type as me, I can help them. However, if I'm in trouble, I can only receive O+ blood only. My friends teased those who has blood AB+ as selfish cos they can receive all types of blood but can't donate their own. LOL

I think I'm really desperate to find a good book to read cos it has been my third time reading Rosie Dunne by Cecilia Ahern and it still never fails me to make me laugh. I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud on the train and buses!! My god... that'll be embarrassing! Anyway, I found this hilarious conversation between Rosie and Alex!

I went for my first ever Adventure Race - Synergy, organised by NYP's very own Adventure Club! It was fun till it lasts and it's the experience that counts! I did kayaking again... haven't done that after my OBS camp, ran around well I'd say more walking than running! LOL. But the best part I get to do archery!! I always wanted to try archery and I got my chance!! Imagine myself being Kagome or Ruriko! HAHA I know lame!

Ok so today I was expecting to buy The Pierces CD but sadly Gramaphone do not sell them. Like the music that it's playing right now? It's The Pierces - Three Wishes. I knew about them when I saw one of the Gossip Girl's episodes: Hi, Society. And then Summit Entertainment announced that Robert Pattinson who plays Cedric Diggory in HP is playing Edward Cullen! I was like "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! YOU MUST BE JOKING!" I was disgusted when I saw his pic on IMDB... HE LOOKS SO DISHEVELLED! Plus, the sad thing is Gossip Girl won't be airing this week but next week instead! I was so looking forward to it but I guess they postpone it due to the strike I guess... Anyway... I'll be leaving on the 19th for Jakarta which they'll be showing GG then! SO SAD...

BULIMIC BLAIR

It's Thanksgiving on Gossip Girl but it wasn't great as the one before. Last year, the three best friends had splendid fun before S decided to ditch B after sleeping with N. This year, after everybody had reconciled, it became from bad to worse. Dan invited the van der Woodsens over and it was a pretty bad idea. There was a cat fight between Dan's and Serena's mom just because of one man - Rufus Humphrey! Secondly, Natie and family... well his dad's problem with cocaine hasn't been resolved yet and to add more to the drama, his dad tried to commit suicide by chucking down pills with alcohol. Dumb really. Swallowing pills won't kill you... stabbing your heart does.

However the worst of it all is Blair. Fans of Gossip Girl know that she has an eating disorder from the very first book and it didn't shock me when they showed her bulimic side. I'm not thrilled that they finally show that she's bulimic but it's the way television shows are portrayed now. Most of them will showcase all the beautiful, rich girls have perfect lives but not GG. I know, I know... I have not been updating my blog for quite some time now. Many things have happened these past few days.

1. Some idiot stole my phone which by the way has $0 value... so I'll laugh at that idiot's face! TOO BAD!!
2. Just finished my theory test and next week is my practical. Not to mention, I have two more tests the week after next! Can school get any worse!?
3. My brother just bought a 4GB Creative Zen! Good for him cause he needs one anyway. By the way, Creative earphones are damn good!!
4. My dear monkey has a boyfriend! Shock! And he's my age! Double shocker! I seriously need to get one soon! Just joking! Hehe
5. I seriously need to save money to get a new phone... aiming for that Nokia 6300 for now!!
6. I met this dude on Facebook and well I won't mind chatting with him online but talking on the phone... ummm not my idea! It kinds of freaks me out though!!
7. Don't be surprised but this auntie here has joined her own school's ADVENTURE RACE!! Quite excited really and scared at the same time! I'm up for the challenge though!!

Finally, the fear of being stuck in the toilet is over! I was shocked, scared, fearful of being in the toilet that I was locked in!! Stupid locker thingy! The first time it was faulty, it happened to my aunt and now me! But luckily I got my phone with me and I dialed my house number and my dad picked it up. And I told him that I was stuck in the toilet and maybe he thought I was joking that I had to repeat myself again. My mom was baffled on why I need a phone in the toilet. I told her that I need to time how long to keep the shampoo on my hair... medicinal purposes.. hehe :P Oh well... glad that's over!

P.S. I Love You, the first book ever written by the International Bestseller, Cecilia Ahern. Those who have not read this book or her other books before, please move your big asses and get one NOW! It's my second time reading it and I'm still enjoying every page of it! If it takes me numerous times to read it, I won't be bored. Ladies of romance are going to love it and expect some tear-jerking moments cos well... you'll hardly get a man who has passed on and leaving you notes of love and encouraging you to move on with your life. Well... for those who are too lazy to read, no worries, it'll be coming out in theaters. Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler will be starring in it so expect a very good movie! Though, it may not follow the same as the book, it'll still be enjoyable and tear-jerking as well. Below is the trailer and I think you'll love it!

Oh my god!! Gossip Girl is getting saucier, juicier, wilder and mysterious! The Jenny + Nate relationship is starting to happen, just like the book. But... Serena + Dan in a room? Ummm... okay. The worst of all Blair + Chuck!! I just hope it's a fling cos you know Chuck Bass... the guy who fools around with girls. Well as you expected, Blair and Nate are no more the Blair and Nate we knew off, sadly. However, the story not only focus more on the teenagers but their parents too! Scandalous, I'd say!

I really hope GG will continue it's full season of 22 episodes rather than 13 due to the Writer's Strike. It's only the 7th episode and 6 more to go till it ends. Please, we GG fans want more!! We beg of you!

Happy B'day Anisa... in 40 mins!

So in half an hour or more, my cousin, Anisa's turning Sweet 16!! You can finally watch NC-16 movies but I can watch M-18 movies! Muahaahah. Anyway, we cousins had FUN! We watched The Game Plan at Cathay Orchard and well Jija and I cried!! It was touching and I can't believe Anisa didn't cry! It was so emotional!! I had to blow my nose and it was pretty obvious that I cried! LOL And also some people behind me... heard sniffles.. hehe

So, after we watched the movie, went to LJS for lunch and Jija and I sneaked off to buy Anisa a slice of Oreo cheesecake from Secret Recipe. Then we searched Carrefour for a lighter but couldn't find one so we gave up and went back to LJS. Surprisingly, the fish wrap was pretty good! Love it!! Poor Anisa, she thought we were going to publicly announce her b'day but we didn't... we are sane people who are very paiseh to do that type of thing.. LOL. It was fun, spending time with my cousins especially Anisa. I hardly get to meet her cos she's in boarding school all the way in M'sia! I will only be able to see her when we're going off to Jakarta during the December holidays and this Sunday to have lunch at TGIF! YES! Life is GOOD!! =)

I missed Cik Mama's lasagne last night and I don't think she has any leftovers. I couldn't even come over to her open house because my brother invited his NTU hallmates over and the house was literally filled with 60 undergrads! The best thing so far, my dad brought a projector and white screen to fixed it in the living room so that the boys can watch soccer! The TV room is quite far to the living room but with my dad, anything can happen! It'll be really cool to watch a movie on the big screen plus the surround system! Coolness! =)

Finally, last night will be and I hope the last open house for us. It's really tiring especially for my mom cos she's the one cooking all the food and when I went down for breakfast today, all the tables that were used for the buffet table were kept where they were supposed to be and the furniture were put back. It'll be just a week more before Hari Raya finishes and then another celebration on the 20th of December for us. If ever my cousins are going over to Jakarta, I don't think I can make it cos both my parents will be busy working and I'll be stuck at home, probably studying. I can't wait for a vacation but thank god this Thursday we'll be going over to causeway to celebrate Anisa's birthday at TGIF!! Finally I get to see her again since she's in boarding school... can't wait! =P

After 4 years for buying and reading the books, Gossip Girl the series has ended... for now. Well, only the original characters but a new era will begin next year with new exciting plots involving triplets!

Anyway, the prequel to Gossip Girl: It Had To Be You is a shocking revelation. It all started before S went to boarding school and the reason behind it. Well... to those who have watched the Gossip Girl TV show, they revealed the reason why S left for boarding school! So it was just S, N and B but feelings between each other tightened and well it gets confusing especially to the only boy between his two best girlfriends. At first, after reading the previous GG books, I thought N was just infatuated with S but apparently, I was wrong. He really does have feelings for S! And B, well she's just the same old B who always get what she wants but sadly, B didn't even know that S left her alone for boarding school! Must be really heartbreaking for her... At least she has N by her side every day... without distractions!

Alright, so enough of the gorgeous trio. It was a double shocking to find out about J! Who knew that she wanted to grow up so fast that she bought supplements online! Heck, she was only 12 1/2 years old and she thought she'll be a late bloomer! Hello!! The average age for maturity is 13-15... what's the rush for! Oh well... she's actually regretting it. V and D... I thought they started all the way back (just like the show) but nope, they bumped to each other at a party and V, she wasn't bald "naturally". She had long, jet black hair! Believe it! Lastly D, I think he's just scary... stalking and obsessing over a particular girl who thinks he doesn't exist! Pathetic really!

Oh well... it's over and I'm still wondering should I continue reading it? I have no idea. Anyway, Gossip Girl episode 6: The Handmaiden's Tale is out and Vanessa's in it!! Finally... but there'll be no baldness! Too bad. Oooo... plus the juicy bit, N kissed J!! Can't wait for the next episode!

It's only the first week of school and I'm bored and restless. I really need to get use to waking up early! I was supposed to meet up with all my cousins but it was canceled the last minute so I ended up going with Jija instead. We had lots of fun right Ja? Though we only ate Long John's... hehe. And apparently, she's one of an observant cousin. Not only is she art student but she observes people around her! I only get to know that both my brother and my cousin, Hidhir are head-turners to girls!! OMG!! Well I can't believe that cos they're family and you see them almost everyday so you can't judge whether they're cute or ugly. :P

Anyway, Jija told me that she brought this flyer to school where my bro was in it. He just finished acting in his hall play and I gotta say, he can act! Thought he would be very stiff. Anyway, she showed the picture of my bro to her friends and they were gushing about him!! They say he's hot, he's good looking and these comments came from the "popular" girls or so she says... So when I heard that I was like "Serious! You must be joking!"It was just weird... to me! He's my brother after all!! Should I look at him like an eye-candy? That'll be gross and disgusting at the same time!

Furthermore, I was in laughter when she told me that Hidhir himself is attractive to girls! She showed his picture and all the girls said he is CUTE!! He's my bloody cousin!! I don't know whether is he good-looking, cute or not! I see him almost everyday!? Alright, never mind. I'll post the best looking pictures of both my brother and Hidhir and you decide. Are they good-looking / cute or just average or no comments... I really need to know. I'm still shocked by all this!! BUT... no offence, I didn't mean to insult them both. They're family and I believe that all my cousins are good-looking but I just can't believe that they attract girls!! I thought these girls will be looking out for those really over the top model look alikes! Anyway, you decide!!

It's the first month of Syawal and the time for Muslims around the world to celebrate after a whole month of fasting. It was a joy to see Muslim families here in Singapore dressing up in different colours and styles. Every corner, you might be able to see a family wearing green, or some wearing white, pink, blue etc. This year, we didn't have a colour co-ordination. My mother and I wore different shades of purple - magenta for me and purple for my mom. On the other hand, both my father and brother wore baju melayu that was greyish blue with tints of gold.

The first day usually involves the whole family visiting our grandparents and then visiting the eldest uncle or aunt. The following days will be visiting our distant relatives or our friends houses. Sadly, there's only one day left to visit as starting Monday I'll be starting school!

Alright, I'm really feeling tired right now and my eyes are just dieing to close! Enjoy the holidays!! Cheers!

GG Episode 4... BFF all over again?

Bad News Blair. This was the title for the 4th episode of Gossip Girl. It sort of sums up what's going to happen... Serena! It all revolves around Serena and for once when the spotlight was on Blair, Serena took it. Shit happens but happiness ensue. It was nice seeing both S and B having fun and being together again rather than seeing B trying to bring down S. Anyway, I've heard that Vanessa will have her cameo appearance on the next episode. Will she bald or hairy? I wonder....

Okay... so I've finished reading The A-List: Beautiful Stranger and it's like Gossip Girl all over again!! Why can't just one couple stay together forever?!! I honestly hate Cammie Sheppard so much!! She's damn worse than Blair and Callie. That's what money and power does to you but I hope Anna will get what she wants... really can't wait for the next book coming April 2008!!.

Freaking out right now is not the answer but writing it down seems to be!! I guess I don't make any sense... Jumping and squealing around will arouse suspicions so I'll just rant it here! Vanessa will have her cameo appearance on Gossip Girl soon!! Finally!! She comes!!
I can't imagine Dan's relationship with Serena will last. Well they look alright together but it just doesn't seem right. If you were wondering how I knew about it... well I've got sources. Kidding.
I read it in one of the comments on YouTube where they showed an interview with Blake and Leighton on TRL and apparently, Vanessa will be acted by this girl who was in one of Daughtry's videos... maybe it's "It's Not Over"? I have no idea... But the mysterious question will be... will she be bald?! Hmmm... we'll have to see.

Anyway, today was my first day in KKH and it was fun! I get to work in the nursery! Very cute babies!!! LOL. I have to leave and sleep... it's bright and early for me tomorrow!

Oh my, I just finished watching Gossip Girl episode 3 and the last scene was almost tear-jerking. Blair and Serena confronting one another after their series of cat-fights... it was touching. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal on the next episode.

On a lighter note, I've finally gotten The A-List #9 :Beautiful Stranger and just by reading the summary and the first chapter, it seems exciting and probably interesting and less boring than the previous one!! I HATE CAMMIE SHEPPARD! There I said it. She's such a bitch and slut!! :P

As always, HEROES was just plain amazing! I've just watched Episode 2: Lizards, thus the title. :P New discoveries and old friends meet. However, the last scene was really gruesome! Imagine cutting off your last toe with a scissors! Ugh! Well it inspired Claire though. Her biology class was discussing about regeneration in lizards and I guess she wants to try it out to see if it works for her. Heck, it does! And it was disgusting but cool at the same time to see her last toe grow! Yay Claire! LOL. Alrighty, can't wait for the third episode of Gossip Girl!! Ciao.

GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT

These past few days during the fasting month, I have made a few meals for my family for break fast. And most of the recipes I got it from The Martha Stewart show or her website itself and specifically today, I made pink lemonade just by using fresh lemons and cranberry juice. Her recipes are really easy and good enough to eat! I remembered making hamburgers and the burger patty itself was manually made. However, it was quite thick, so all of us didn't get to finish it at all! Then later on, I made more hamburgers when we went to my grandmother's house and well let's say they were worth it! I made 15 burger patties and there were no leftovers! Well, I guess thanks to my brother and cousin since they took two burgers each!

Apart from Martha Stewart whom I get recipes from (including my cupcakes), I've copied and am trying to get other recipes from Bob Plumer (Surreal Gourmet) and Nigella Lawson. Some are easy to make but others, well, I don't really like it when they use alcohol in their recipes. It's like when you see them cooking it looks so delicious, and then out of the blue they'll use white wine, pink champagne etc. It's quite disappointing really.

However, the worst part was I couldn't find recipes from Nigella Lawson on the web. Well... only a few of it but not all of it. Guess, I'll have to hunt for the book. She cooks really well and you just feel like trying it. I want to try her toffee topping, mixed fruit salad that has mangoes, raspberries etc and many, many more. She is one of my favourite chefs other than Bob Plumer, Jamie Oliver and Martha Stewart!

I really, really would like to try all the recipes but I can't really satisfy one two of the hungry stomachs in my family. Well... my dad he's more the Asian and Javanese type so he prefers something with rice instead of pasta. I hope he'll change his mind though... after he tries my cooking... LOL.

GOSSIP GIRL EPISODE 2 SNEAK PREVIEW

Well... I'm kinda disappointed that fanpop didn't upload the second episode of Gossip Girl as soon as possible. It aired last night on the 26th and hopefully they will upload it tomorrow. Anyway, they did upload a small snippet of the show, the Dan and Jenny talk. Kinda sweet, the brother and sister lovin'! :)

GOSSIP GIRL VS HEROES

Gossip Girl and Heroes... the 2 most anticipated shows. One's a preppy cum rich kids with their many problems while the other is the continuation about people with super-powers. Let's see who gets the best vote.

Gossip Girl, based on the New York Times bestseller series is the most anticipated show awaited by fans of the book such as moi! It's season premiere was good, where as GG fans might know, Serena (Blake Lively) comes back from boarding school surprising everyone especially (Leighton Meester) Blair and Nate (Chase Crawford). However, the characters were disappointing... well only a few. Firstly, the season premiere introduces Serena's brother Eric (Connor Paolo), whom shockingly is younger than her and he was hospitalized for harming himself. Secondly, one of the most important girls in the book Vanessa, is not even casted in the show. She'll be an interesting character to watch if she was casted. Well I have a lot of opinions about the characters but I'm quite satisfied with them acting especially Leighton and Ed Westwick who plays Chuck. They're over the top! Episode 1 premiered a week ago and now episode 2 was aired last night in North America on The CW. I've seen the trailer for episode 2 and well there will be a catfight between the once BFFs, S and B because of N's confession: "I had sex with Serena". Imagine your BF saying it right at your face... poor Blair. Anyway, Gossip Girl I'd give a rating of 3 out of 5.

Heroes, the newest season was a good start for another anticipating show. The last season ended with a few of our beloved Heroes sacrificing their lives for humanity and the second season continued from where it left off, 4 months later. Everyone had their own lives to continue with but there were some unexpected turn of events...as usual. Furthermore, the season premiere introduced 4 new characters. Each of them had their unique ability to do something extraordinary or causing destruction to humanity. The first episode had me waiting for more... it has every genre that anybody would like - action/adventure, comedy (thanks to Hiro played by Masi Oka), suspense and maybe a teeny-winny bit of drama. And who would have guessed that the Petrelli brothers - Nathan and Peter - are alive?! Can't wait to watch the next episode!! I'd give Heroes a 4 out of 5!!

So... in conclusion, well both of the shows are just as good to watch. If you love The O.C. then you might love Gossip Girl, East Coast style but for those who just love all things supernatural than Heroes is just for you. Everybody has their liking so no matter what show you like/hate, enjoy them!! :)

It's the first day of the fasting month. Woke up really early today and watched Bewitched on HBO. However, the most exciting part is experiencing the sunrise. This has been my first time seeing the sunrise and it was beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! I took pictures of it from my room and well I was a bit worried that the neighbours will complain... well they're still asleep. Teehee

I started taking the pictures at around 0620 where the sky is still dark but there was a light tint of orange over the horizon. I wanted to take the bright shining star but the picture would not turn out well. I've seen a couple of planes overhead and well Singapore really is busy!

Here are the pictures that were taken from 0630 to 0706. In the third picture, the clouds remind me of Voldermort chasing after the witches and wizards on the broomsticks just like in Deathly Hallows! Weird isn't it? It's no wonder that cloud gazing is fun!!
