Oh my... my heart's aching so badly! Why didn't anybody post the movie!! I can't download it... it's illegal and only on Thursday did I found the movie itself! Why didn't I bought it on the spot!! Why was it until part 7 when there's more!! I have to watch the second Inuyasha movie until the end!! I really missed the part... the initimate moment between Inuyasha and Kagome!! I thought I could find any videos on YouTube but I was mistakenly wrong... Now... I will have to find a chance to go to HMV and find the bloody movie! Ironic isn't it when they have Movies 1, 3 and 4 but not Movie 2 in YouTube.

Well... I guess my soul would not rest in peace until I get to watch the whole movie. Why must it happen to me!! WHY!! DOUSHITE!!!

Jodi Picoult, an author that I've taken a liking off. Her books are far more different than the books I was known to read like Gossip Girl, Princess Diaries or even The A-List.

I was shocked and excited at the same time when I saw her on the cover page of "LIFE!" in The Straits Times. They wrote about her latest novel - The Tenth Circle - which has been on the 6th spot of Life Bestseller's List!

As you can see on the right, the latest book that I've read from her was Keeping Faith. And there were other books too that I've read - Plain Truth, The Pact, Salem Falls and My Sister's Keeper. When I read that My Sister's Keeper is going to the big-screen, I was jumping for joy! I was waiting for a day where one of her books would be made into a movie!

I was far more surprised when I read that Plain Truth and The Pact has been made into movies. But sadly, they are not shown worldwide but only in America. I really hope that I could get the chance to watch either of these two masterpieces.

Furthermore, it was stated that her upcoming novel - Nineteen Minutes - would be on the shelves soon. It's about violence which are happening in schools. To catch a glimpse of this novel, LIFE! has placed an extract of it. You can read it at LIFE! - The Straits Times on 22 June 2006. Enjoy!!1

I was cleaning my room just now and I found a Valentine's Day card that one of my friends gave it to me last year. On the card was a qoute that I thought was really meanigful....

"When the winds of change come, stirring things up in our lives, friendship is what steadies us. And you've steadied me time and again. You've helped me find a peaceful state of mind just by listening and assuring me that this, too, will pass. You've hung in there with me when things have come up that took time away from our friendship. You haven't judged me when I've gotten slightly off course, and you've celebrated with me when things were set right again. Though we don't always know what's going to happen tomorrow, it feels good to know one thing for sure - we'll always be there for each other, we'll always be friends."

Okay... I'm not a Paris Hilton fan... so don't get me wrong. I have her picture because this evening, I heard her latest single on radio and it sounds horrible. Her lyrics are kind of cheesy and oh so Paris Hilton-ish. When I listen to her sing, I thought to myself, "that ain't her singing!". There were background vocals that were louder than her and covers her "singing ability".

After the song, Daniel Ong mentioned that Vanessa from Parking Lot Pimp told him that there was this gadget called the tune coder. This tune coder helps singers who sings out of tune to get back on track... hmm... possibly Paris was using it?? Who knows??

Got this from the web... this is her latest single "Stars Are Blind". What is the title suppose to mean?? And I'm already feeling sick reading the lyrics of the song. I think I'm gonna throw up my dinner.... kidding...

Stars Are Blind

I don't mind spending some time
Just hanging here with you
Cuz I don't find too many guys
That treat me like you do
Those other guys all wanna take me for a ride
But when I walk their talk is suicide
Some people never get beyond their stupid pride
But you can see the real me inside
And I'm satisfied, oh no, ohh

Even though the gods are crazy
Even though the stars are blind
If you show me real love baby
I'll show you mine

I can make you nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart and soul and body
Let's see what this love can do
Baby i'm perfect for you

My love, ohh oh

I could be your confidante
Just one of your girlfriends
But I know that love's what you want
If tomorrow the world ends
Why shouldn't we be with the one we really love?
Now tell me who have you been dreaming of
At night at home? oh no, ohh

Even though the gods are crazy
Even though the stars are blind
If you show me real love baby
I'll show you mine

I can make you nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart and soul and body
Let's see what this love can do
Baby i'm perfect for you

Excuse me for feeling
This moment is critical
Might be me feeling
It could get physical, oh no, no no

Even though the gods are crazy
Even though the stars are blind
If you show me real love baby
I'll show you mine

I can make you nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart and soul and body
Let's see what this love can do
Let's see what this love can do
Baby I'm perfect for you

Baby I'm perfect for you

Even though the gods are crazy

Even though the stars are blind

Even though the gods are crazy

Even though the stars are blind

It's Father's Day today... but my father had to work today... of all the days. Anyway, in spite of the special day today, I went to my cousin's engagement. Frankly speaking, it was my first time witnessing this engagement. An occasion whereby both parties agreed that their son and daughter is to be wed... to summarise it all... they have been a fiance and a fiancee. Their wedding will be held in a year or two.... so can't wait I guess....

Since the "opening ceremony" of the engagement, my father didn't have the time off work to visit so we had to fetch him at around 1945. We left my cousin's place at around 1830 and in between the journey, we stopped for a while to do our evening prayers at a nearby mosque. When we reached my father, it was just on time.

From Pasir Panjang, we took our usual route to Pasir Ris. I was getting bored with the scenery and also because my bladder was growing... I took out my book Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult... just to pass the time and to distract me. When I took out my book, we were on the ECP, passing along East Coast Park. I was too engrossed with it that I didn't notice the surroundings around me only until my brother pointed out that we were heading towards the airport!! My father had missed a turn that led us to Pasir Ris! It was a really a funny incident cause my parents were so involved in the topic they were discussing that failed to notice where we heading... haha...

Well... I guess that's all I have to say for today... signing off to watch Inu Yasha... hehehe... okie then! See Ya!!!

I dream I can run like the wind and be strong
When my heart just want to give in
I dream I can be the hero that's in me I dream

Hehe... listening to Taufik, I Dream... i know... lame... haha

My thighs are damn aching man!!! I came back from my first camp in NYP yesterday, A-Team camp! Very fun and very interesting. It's a leadership camp - tiring, yes but enjoyable, very.

Had a lot of fun especially with the games. Even though the games need a lot of thinking, strategising, it also needs unity and teamwork to make it a success!! Yesterday was the best. Our last game for the camp was "1800 seconds NoNg". We were divided into two sets - Set A and Set B. I was in Set A, which consisted of Groups 1,4,6,8.

In the game there were a series of stations that we had to complete under 30 minutes. We only have one attempt for each station... so if we fail, we have to start all over again from Station 1. It involves a lot of strategising, teamwork, motivation and encouragement to keep us going all the way to Station 10. Even if we failed and there were times when we exceeded the time limit, we were motivated to restart all over again cause we know that we can do it!!

And after all that teamwork and motivation, did you know what we get?? Well... Set B completed the stations in 14 minutes while us, the Set A finished it all in 6 minutes!!!! WHOO!!! That's what teamwork is all about man!!!

That was one of the best games!! The PT though... even though it's one of the not-interesting part of the camp but ironically it was fun!! During PT, we were tied next to each other in our groups and we are to do a series of stations around the stadium. Each station requires strategising, teamwork and motivation. We had to do - crunches, sit ups, jumping jacks, star jumps, ranger kick, ranger jump and one more which I forgot - all together as a group! It may seem difficult but it's easy if you have teamwork and motivation in you! We had to do three rounds but we did two and a half rounds instead cos time was up. Which is why my legs ache like hell!!! I can't walk properly, climb up and down the stairs like an old woman and I can't stretch!!! AARRGGHH... I hope the pain will be gone ASAP!!!

Anyway... I guess I'm done... see ya!

I went to Zanna's party yesterday at Eunice's house. Very hilarious and fun experience! When we went there, I shrieked when I saw Eunice's dog and the dog was also afraid of us.... so funny.

Anyway... I stayed there until around nine-thirtyish to fortyish cos my father was waiting for me since he came back from work. So while waiting for him, I played mah jong with my friends and it was fun!!! It's my first time so I was a bit rusty at first but I got a hang of it sooner or later. The minus point when playing is that I can't read Chinese!! LOL I showed the cards and asked them what number was that... showing all the numbers that I have.... hehehe... For me, numbers one, two and three were no problem but the rest I'm a bit blur.. haha

It was fun playing especially mixing all the cards on the table... the sound makes me 'high'... LOL
Anyway... it was fun!!! I really wanna play mah jong again... :P

I'm so sleepy... possibly the side effect after I took my Hep. B jap this morning. I'm actually positive but since its 13, almost near the requirement range which is 10, I just took it for future precautions since I'll be going to the hospital soon for my clinical attachnment.

Anyway, after going to the doc's, I went to White Sands with my mom, bro. and my cousin. We went to Courts since my mom said there is a sale on laptops and went to look around. Her budget was below $2000 and we finally managed to get a laptop around that price... newly launched laptop from Compaq. So quite happy that I'll be getting a lappy soon...

After going through Courts, we went to John Little to shop around a bit and only got one thing, a shirt for my dad.. LOL. My mom then suggested to go to this Singtel shop which was outside since she would like to upgrade me and my bro.'s phones. So in the end, I'll be getting a Nokia 6125 while my bro. will be getting a Motorolla V3X...

I really want to thank my mom for everything...What can I get for her since her birthday's coming this friday?? To those who read this blog... please give suggestions. :)
I would really like to give her something to repay for everything that she has given us.... So I would really appreciate that you could leave your comments! Thanks a bunch!!

Had a very interesting lecture today on Nursing Science 1026 on Fundamentals of Nursing. Before we eneded our lecture, Ms Tan showed us a video called Crossroads. Its about a nurse called Kate Shaw who's being stressed by the job and feel under appreciated. She felt like quitting the job but was stopped by the nurse manager.

Later, she found out that she wasn't the only one that felt like quitting. One of her friends was in the same situation as her but a visit to the director's office changed her. A simple compliment and appreciation can go a long way...

I really learned alot from this video. Me and my friends now see that nursing is not an easy job like doctors thinking that we're not doing our job, difficult and aggressive patients that we have to face... but one thing that has kept me inspired was a qoute I got from the video itself.

" Doctors cure but nurses care "

I guess its true. Without nurses, I don't think patients would be receiving enough care when there are no nurses around. So I guess I'm glad that I've taken this course without regret and of anybody's not feeling well.... just remember I'm just a phone calls away.... :P

Today is so embarrasing! I went to school early and reached there at around ten in the morning. While walking under the linkway from the MRT station to NYP, I called Eunice, just to confirm whether the first class was lecture or tutorial and found out that class started at 12 instead!!

I had to rush to school until my legs ache and found out that class will begin 2 hours later!! Man, I was so paiseh... So on the way to school, I was debating whether I should go to the lecture hall or the library. After debating over it for a few minutes, I opted for the library.

I took a seat at one of the empty tables and message one of my friends Hui Scen, thinking that she will be in the library. And surprise, she was!! At last I had a friend to accompany me for the next 2 hours. We chatted all the way until 11 where she had to leave to eat her lunch. So its now me again all alone in the library, reading my book.....
